- Does ClockBase take screenshots of my team?
- No. ClockBase records hours, breaks, departments, and the notes your team writes themselves. There is no screen capture, keystroke logging, mouse-movement tracking, or webcam monitoring — not as a setting you can switch off, but as a decision about what this product is.
- Can I pay someone in a different currency from the rate we agreed?
- Yes. The rate you agreed, the currency your employee is paid in, and the account you fund from are three separate settings. Conversions use an explicit rate recorded for that pay period rather than whatever the market happens to be on payday, and payouts go out as one batch so everyone on the run gets the same rate.
- What happens when someone forgets to clock out?
- The shift is flagged for review instead of quietly being paid through to the current time. An administrator corrects the end time before the period reaches payroll, and the shift is marked as edited so the change stays visible in the record.
- Do you take a percentage of payroll?
- No. ClockBase is priced per employee, and payment-provider fees are passed through at cost. We never take a cut of your team's pay.
- Can employees see their own hours and pay?
- Yes. Everyone has their own shift history, timesheets, and paystubs. The record protects the employee at least as often as it protects the employer, which is the point of keeping one.
